I installed an external hard drive (Free Agent) with Ceedo a program that lets you use the external HD as a mobile device.

The new hardware seemed to be working okay but I didn't know for sure which files to include on the external drive so I put most of them on it. Trouble is Ceedo synchronizes files and folders (which should not be a problem) but I think that may be what started things going wrong. I noticed that AVG was doing a virus scan and would not stop scanning even when I canceled it- -it would go on and on for days- - i so I uninstalled AVG. Then I noticed that my Outlook email program was messed up.

When I would try to send and receive one of my accounts would attempt to receive over 3,0. Also, a sguare envelope icon appeared in the system tray saying the Outlook is synchronizing folders. I researched this problem on the web and followed every piece of advice (unchecking . Still this did not work. I checked my account settings, etc.

It was still treating my account like an exchange server account instead of a POP. I don't have any mobile devices. Then I realized that Ceedo or Free. Agent may have given my computer instructions to synchronize these email files so I decided to eject and uninstall Ceedo but it would not allow me to eject it or use the safely remove icon.

It said that the device could not be stopped. I removed it anyway and uninstalled Ceedo and Free. Agent (with add remove programs) and rebooted. The email problem still persisted. However, a short while after I continued my work I got a blue screen error message saying that windows had shut down to protect my computer. It also said that if this happened again that I should disable Bios memory caching and shadowing.

This has now happened two times. I don't have the stop error numbers and don't know how to get them unless it blue screens again. Is there a log of these somewhere? So. How to stop the send/receive synchronizing files problem and 2. How to (or whether to) disable BIOS memory caching and shadowing?
